As previously announced, the FIA is facilitating an industry-wide disaster recovery test on Saturday, October 9th. This all important test will provide clearing member firms, third party software providers and participating exchanges the opportunity to test their back-up sites. Briefings that will cover the test plans of all participating exchanges and give firm participants an opportunity to ask questions have been scheduled for Wednesday, September 8th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and Thursday, September 9th from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at NYBOT/NYMEX in New York.
